Multimedia helps children with all different learning styles to learn in their own way. It also lets the teacher use their own teaching styles to teach. I think that using multimedia in the classroom would benefit the students because they are engaged in the learning, and they can have fun while learning. Since they are used to growing up around so much technology, I think they would enjoy being in the classroom much more if multimedia was used in the classroom.
Multimedia will cater to more children because it's more stimulating. It could be a more hands on learning experience if they took pictures or shot movies, whatever it may be, but it would help the children retain the material better and in a way that is more fitting to today's technological ways.
I definitely agree that multimedia is important for teachers to use because it's more stimulating. However, I also agree with Patrick that if teachers don't understand how to properly use the technology, it prevents the class from flowing, because teachers have to constantly stop and fumble with the media.
